This policy explains the cookies and similar storage Crossroad uses. We keep it to the minimum: two strictly necessary cookies that make the service work, and no analytics or advertising cookies at all. There is nothing to consent to, which is why you no longer see a cookie banner.

Strictly necessary

Required for the service to work; not used for tracking.

pi_session (app only): keeps you signed in. Set only after you sign in; scoped to app.joincrossroad.com; expires after 30 days.
cr_demo (app only): set while you browse the public demo as a guest; removed when you leave the demo or sign in.
Browser storage (not a cookie) for your theme, language and interface preferences. It never leaves your browser.

Website measurement without cookies

The marketing website (joincrossroad.com) uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. It sets no cookies, stores no identifier in your browser, does not fingerprint you, and reports only aggregate numbers (page, referrer, country, browser family). The web app runs no analytics at all; the usage numbers we look at come from our own server logs of what you do inside your workspace, which the Privacy policy describes.

If you accepted or rejected cookies here before September 2026, a cr_consent cookie may remain until it expires. It is no longer read and you can delete it.

Managing cookies

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; without the session cookie you will be signed out.
